Terms and Conditions

By downloading or using Cast TV: Stream to tv ("the Application"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. General Terms
The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Unauthorized copying, modification, or reverse engineering of the Application is strictly prohibited.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Ensuring you have legal rights to any content you stream
- Any data charges incurred while using the Application
- Proper network configuration for streaming
3. Content Streaming
The Application enables streaming of media files to compatible devices. We do not host, store, or transmit any content. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to stream.
4. Google Drive Integration
The Application offers optional integration with Google Drive using the following OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
By connecting your Google Drive, you agree that:
- You authorize the Application to access ONLY files you explicitly select through Google Picker
- The Application uses this limited access to download and stream files to your TV
- The Application CANNOT browse, modify, delete, or upload files to your Google Drive
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to stream the selected content
- You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings
Technical Details
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (we never see your password)
- Scope:
drive.file - per-file access only
- Data transfer: Direct from Google to your device, then local network to TV
The Application's use of Google Drive API complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Google Photos Integration
The Application offers optional integration with Google Photos using the following OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/photoslibrary.readonly
By connecting your Google Photos, you agree that:
- You authorize the Application to view your photos, videos, and albums
- The Application uses READ-ONLY access - it CANNOT modify, delete, or upload content
- Selected media is temporarily downloaded to stream to your TV
- All streaming occurs locally on your network
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to stream the content
- You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings
Technical Details
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (we never see your password)
- Scope:
photoslibrary.readonly - read-only access
- Data transfer: Direct from Google to your device, then local network to TV
- Temporary files are automatically deleted after streaming
The Application's use of Google Photos API complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Yandex Disk Integration
The Application offers optional integration with Yandex Disk using Yandex OAuth authentication.
By connecting your Yandex Disk, you agree that:
- You authorize the Application to access files in your Yandex Disk
- The Application downloads selected files to stream to your TV
- The Application does NOT modify, delete, or upload files
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to stream the content
- You can revoke access at any time through Yandex Passport settings

- Authentication: Yandex OAuth 2.0
- Data transfer: Direct from Yandex to your device, then local network to TV
- Temporary files are automatically deleted after streaming
7. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services including:

8. Google API Services Compliance
Cast TV's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we:
- Only use Google user data for the purposes described in this document
- Do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service
- Do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
- Do not allow humans to read Google user data unless required for security or legal compliance
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Stream unauthorized copyrighted content
- Use the Application for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempt to bypass security features
- Use the Application for illegal activities
- Interfere with or disrupt the Application's functionality
- Attempt to access other users' cloud storage accounts
10. Device Requirements
The Application requires:
- Active internet connection
- Compatible Chromecast, DLNA, or AirPlay device
- Proper network configuration
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Playback issues or streaming quality
- Device malfunctions or compatibility issues
- Network problems or connectivity issues
- Loss of data or unauthorized access to your accounts
- Issues with third-party services including Google Drive, Google Photos, or Yandex Disk
- Content you choose to stream
12. Updates and Modifications
We may update the Application and these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of new terms. We may discontinue the Application at any time without notice.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application for violation of these Terms.
